How to remove the AVG signature and text from your emails
When you download AVG, the default setting automatically adds a signature or 'footer' to the bottom of each email you send. This reads "No virus found in this incoming message." Checked by AVG Free Edition. Version: 7.1.XXX / Virus Database: 268.9.9/XXX - Release Date: XX/XX/200X.
In order to remove this from your outgoing emails:
1. Double click the AVG icon on your desktop (it looks like the image on the left)
2. Click on 'Control center'
3. Double click on 'Email Scanner'
4. Click on 'Configure'
5. Remove the ticks in the two 'Certify mail' boxes
6. Click 'OK' to finish.
